Flat Pack Shepherds Hut

The next Shepherds Hut is now on order. The chassis has been order and is due to arrive next week. This order is a basic hut without a wood burning stove. After working on site projects for the summer, the barn needs to be reorganised to store the materials and make space for the next hut to be built. As usual this hut has a quirk to it. It will be the first hut we have made that will be built in the barn, taken down and then re-erected on site. Once this hut is done, we will be able to offer 'flat pack' shepherds huts. This will allow people to have a shepherds hut who previously couldn't have one due to having no access to the site.

The chassis ordered is the same size as the original huts. Each chassis comes with a steering handle and an optional towing hitch. This hut will not need a towing hitch as it will be erected on site.

Once the chassis arrives work can commence on construction of the floor and walls.

Beechleaf Carpentry are painting the exterior of the hut and the clients are painting the interior to their own design. These clients are very talented at arts a crafts so we are looking forward to seeing how they finish it.
